HRCU Announces Greenland’s Community Credit Union is Coming Late Fall 2024 Greenland, NH – HRCU, a community credit union founded as Holy Rosary Credit Union in Rochester, NH in 1962, announces it will open a new full-service branch in Greenland, NH in early fall 2024. Located within a new, mixed-use building at 603 Portsmouth Avenue, the new branch will be next to the Greenland Post Office on Route 33.
HRCU will be Greenland’s first financial institution in 20 years.
“At our core, HRCU is a ‘people first’ institution, building lasting relationships with our members and the communities that we serve,” HRCU President and CEO Brian Hughes said. “We are especially proud to bring our services to a community that has not had a financial institution in more than twenty years. This new branch elevates our commitment to better serve our growing membership and neighbors throughout the Seacoast region.”
The 2,400-square-foot branch will include a drive-up ATM with an Interactive Teller Machine (ITM), as well as full deposit services, wealth management and a complete line of affordable business services, consumer and mortgage loans. Its new space will also include a community coffee lounge that will serve as a place for neighbors and members of the greater community to gather.
“For 20 years, we’ve had to leave Greenland for our banking. Now, with HRCU’s commitment to building relationships and a central location in town, it will be like banking with a trusted neighbor,” said Greenland resident Marge Morgan. “I welcome HRCU to our community.”
The full-service branch will be open Monday through Saturday. The drive-up ATM/ITM will be accessible 24 hours a day with a nightly drop off for businesses as well.
“We opened an account with HRCU as soon as we knew they were coming to Greenland,” said Tom Brackett and Alison LaPage Brackett, owners of Bracket Point Estate on Great Bay. “As business owners, we need a bank where we can actually talk to a person and not to a machine in a city a hundred or a thousand miles away; a bank where the staff knows our name and where we are appreciated as customers. HRCU is our partner and our community’s partner.”
