Meet Jessica, our Business Development Manager, based out of our Greenland branch. Jessica works closely in our communities to build lasting relationships with local business owners.
What is your role at HRCU?
"As Business Development Manager, I provide our members with top-notch financial solutions for their businesses, both in business banking and in business lending. I help our members on the financial side so that they can focus more on what they love."
What makes you passionate about your work?
"In 2019, I desired a career change into financial services, as finance management has always been an interest of mine. I accepted a position at HRCU as Special Accounts Coordinator. From there, I have taken on many different positions in financial services such as Financial Service Associate, Assistant Branch Manager, Commercial Portfolio Manager and my most recent role as Business Development Manager. These roles have played a major part in my knowledge and passion for understanding financial situations and having the solutions to help our members in the best way possible."
How do you and your team help members reach their financial goals?
"In Business Development, our goal is to work with businesses in our community and provide them with the knowledge that they need to make educated decisions with their banking. This may be transitioning to HRCU’s Free Business Checking, exploring our low-interest business loans or directing them to other local resources available to them."
Lastly, what are some things you enjoy outside of work?
"Outside of my time at HRCU I enjoy volunteering for local non-profits, doing outdoor activities such as fishing, camping and golf. Plus, I like finding new places to grab a bite to eat!"
