Meet Virgie, our Farmington Branch Manager. Virgie's passion for her work and helping our members navigate their finances have helped her climb the ladder from part-time teller to managing our Farmington branch.

What is your role at HRCU?

"I manage the Farmington, New Hampshire branch and handle our ATM/ITM machine. My team and I process deposits, withdrawals, print debit cards, open certificate of deposits and handle various other types of transactions. I open accounts, take loan applications, ensure the Farmington branch is in good shape, and to make sure our members receive excellent service."

What make you passionate about your work?

"I started with HRCU when my kids began school. Feeling bored, I decided to find a part time job. Fortunately, HRCU hired me as a part time teller to keep me busy while my sons were in school. I quickly became passionate about my job, especially because of the great and caring people I worked with.

I was promoted to a Financial Service Associate and transferred to the Dover Branch. Through hard work and dedication, I was then promoted to manager. After spending a few years in Dover, I was transferred to the Farmington Branch.

I love what I do, I love my team, and I enjoy talking to and helping our members."

How do you and your team help members reach their financial goals?

"We are dedicated to providing the best service. We offer competitive rates on our Certificates of Deposit and a variety of account options, including retirement accounts and HSA account. Our goal is to help and guide our members toward financial success. Located locally, we welcome everyone to walk in or make an appointment with a financial service assistant."

What are some things you enjoy outside of work?

“In my free time, I enjoy golfing with my husband of 33 years. We love dining out and spending time with friends. I am a grandparent to two adorable grandchildren: a 2 ½- year-old boy and 3-month-old girl. They are both adorable, and I can’t get enough of them. I am also a proud parent of two sons, Ryan, 31, and Brandon, 30.”
