Through our dedicated community outreach, we strive to make a positive impact by providing financial support to various non-profit organizations and initiatives that align with our values. Whether we’re supporting the arts or rallying behind local youth sports teams, HRCU can be counted on as a trusted partner in our community.

Proud Make-A-Wish New Hampshire Supporter

We are a proud sponsor of Make-A-Wish New Hampshire. Not only as an individual organization, but also as a collective of New Hampshire Credit Unions.

Throughout the year, we actively participate in numerous events aimed at raising funds for children with critical illnesses and their families. Our efforts range from selling Make-A-Wish Chocolate Bars and Raffle Calendars to hosting Radiothons, all with the sole purpose of providing unwavering support to children in need.

2024

Seacoast Outright - June is Pride month, and we're excited to be supporting Seacoast Outright, who serve, support, and advocate for LGBTQ+ youth in the Seacoast area and beyond. 

Farmington Fish and Game - Boys and girls ages 4 - 12 will be able to dip their toe into the world of fishing, a great outdoor summer activity, at Farmington Fish and Game's annual Kids Fishing Day. 

Rotary Club of Rochester - We're going back to school with the Rotary Club of Rochester, donating and handing out summer reading books for local elementary schools for grades K - 5. 

Rochester Opera House - We're teaming up with ROH in an exciting new way! For the 2024 season, we are sponsoring HRCU $10 TIX, a great and affordable way for families and kids to see the amazing shows at the Rochester Opera House! To purchase discounted tickets, please visit Stage Door Tickets & More at 1 Wakefield St. Rochester, NH. Tickets must be purchased in person. Available for ages 16 and under. 

Dover Children's Home - We're getting our "bowl" on at the 16th Annual Bowl-a-thon to raise funds for the Dover Children's Home. For over 130 years, the Children's Home has provided tools and support for vulnerable children and teens to heal from trauma through community-based treatment programs. 

My Breast Cancer Support - With a mission to provide financial and emotional support to breast cancer patients and their families on the seacoast of NH and southern Maine, we are honored to donate to their upcoming Celebrate Pink 5K Run & Walk. Coming to downtown Portsmouth September 2024. 

Hope on Haven Hill - Located in Rochester, HHH provides a safe and nurturing home for pregnant women with substance use disorder. We look forward to supporting their Annual Hope Springs Eternal Fundraising Gala this spring.  

Children's Museum of New Hampshire - We're excited to be continuing tradition and sponsoring the "HRCU Coin Maze" exhibit. Visit the museum today and see if you can find it!

Greater Seacoast Community Health - GSCH provides health services to those in need in the community, regardless of ability to pay. We are proud to help GSCH provide those little to no insurance, access to the healthcare services that they need. 

NHPBS - Giving Granite Staters engaging and local media. We're excited to support the Annual NHPBS Auction to raise funds for the continuation of their programs. 

Christmas Caring Campaign

Every year, we organize a unique community donation event called the Christmas Caring Campaign. Throughout December, we make it a point to visit numerous non-profit organizations in our community to personally hand deliver our donations and gain insight into their valuable work. Over the course of ten years, we have contributed more than $300,000 to non-profit organizations to ensure that our community is taken care of and provided for during the holiday season.

If you would like to submit a request for a community donation from HRCU, please complete the Community Donation Request Form and send it along with any supporting documents to marketing at hrcu dot org. Please submit the request at least 45 days prior to the event date to give our committee time to review and process your request.
