HRCU is committed to help our members detect scams and any type of fraud they may encounter. Unfortunately scams with seniors is a big business with fraudsters. Most recent statistics show over $3 Billion dollars is swindled from seniors each year. More than 3.5 million older adults are victims each year.
HRCU works with local law enforcement and the NH Attorney Generals office in many cases when we detect a scam or fraud is committed. We also work with family members should they suspect something is wrong with a family members account.
Our staff is trained to work with members and our AARP certification is another way we want to help our members.
