ROCHESTER, NH – This February, HRCU President & CEO Brian Hughes, as well as the CEOs of other New Hampshire credit unions, received an email with a personalized thank you video from Make-A-Wish New Hampshire Wish children.
Make-A-Wish New Hampshire team members also dropped off chocolate treats, thank you posters, and photo collages to HRCU’s front line staff. The gestures were all part of the “reimagined” “Sweet Thank You” to the credit unions from Make-A-Wish. COVID-19 protocols may have prevented the traditional visits that wish children typically make this year, but it did not stop the wish children or the Make-A-Wish New Hampshire from expressing their gratitude to their partners.
The videos and treats were well received as they brought smiles to the staff of HRCU and other NH credit unions.
“All of us at HRCU always enjoy welcoming our local Wish Kids into our branches, but unfortunately that was not able to happen this year. The video we received from the children was a very heartwarming surprise though and we’ve been happy to share this thank you with our staff and our members who follow us on social media”, said Hughes. “We have been proud partners of Make-A-Wish NH for so long, and to see and hear back from the children is a great experience every time.”
