ROCHESTER, NH – $420 million HRCU is pleased to announce the promotion of Nicole Huntress to Vice President of Operations and Compliance. In her new role, Nicole is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the credit union’s retail operations and compliance.

“Nicole’s promotion is a testament to her hard work, expertise and dedication to our membership,” said Rosemary Shields, EVP and COO at HRCU. “I have full confidence in Nicole’s ability to lead with integrity, passion and a relentless pursuit of excellence.”

Huntress is also certified through the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) as Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Specialist (BSACS) and has earned the designation of Credit Union Enterprise Risk Management Expert (CUERME) from CUNA.

“Nicole has proven during her tenure and through her advancement that she is extremely devoted to HRCU and serving our members,” said Brian Hughes, HRCU President and CEO. “I could not be happier for Nicole and her well-earned promotion and look forward to working with her on the executive leadership team.”

Huntress began her career at HRCU as teller in 2005 and rose through the ranks taking on roles such as branch manager, operations manager, director of compliance, and most recently assistant vice president of operations and compliance. She was also instrumental in the creation of HRCU’s loss prevention controls navigating the ever-increasing fraud prevention, protecting members and the credit union’s assets.

A proud supporter of the Rochester community, Huntress joined the Rochester Crimeline board of directors in 2018 and has served as the board’s secretary since 2019. Previously, she was a member of the Rochester Main Street outreach committee.
