Visa Card Rewards

*Earn 3X the uChoose Reward Points on Flights, Lodging, Rental Cars, Cruise Line’s and Travel Agencies during the period of 1/3/2025 – 3/31/2025, when using your HRCU Platinum Rewards Credit Card or HRCU Business Rewards Credit Card. To be eligible for promotion, cardholders must activate the promotion on their uChoose Rewards home page. Activation can occur by accessing hrcu’s online banking, navigating to Card Management, and accessing the Rewards function. Promo activation will then occur on the cardholders uChoose Rewards homepage. The maximum bonus reward during promotional period is 7,500 bonus uChoose Reward Points. Once maximum bonus reward earning has been reached, remaining qualifying purchases will earn the standard reward rate of 1 point per $1 spent. Purchases made by third parties or non-qualifying merchants may not qualify. To qualify for 3X the uChoose Reward Points, the promotion must be activated within uChoose Rewards, and the transaction date must be between 1/3/2025 and 3/31/2025. Purchases completed during promo period but before promo activation are not eligible for bonus reward points. For travel-related purchases, the transaction date from the merchant may not be the actual date of the purchase, but instead the date when the trip occurs. Qualifying merchants are determined by the Merchant Category Code (MCC). Merchants and processors are assigned an MCC based on their standard products and services. HRCU is not responsible for assigning MCC codes to merchants and has no control over what MCC is assigned to a merchant. Transactions performed at merchants that are not assigned to the following MCC codes are not eligible for promotional points: 3000 - 3756, 4411, 4511, 4722, 7012, and 7512, and will instead earn the standard reward rate of 1 point per $1 spent. HRCU reserves the right to adjust or shut down this promotion at any time.

*uChoose Rewards Rate Buy Down is available to HRCU Visa Rewards Credit Card holders who have a new or existing fixed rate consumer auto loan or personal loan. The following loan types are not eligible for a rate buy down: Business Loans, Real Estate Loans, Personal Lines of Credit, and Credit Cards. Eligible Visa Rewards Credit Card holders may use their available uChoose Reward points to buy down the rate of their new or existing eligible consumer loan by a maximum of 0.25% during the life of the eligible loan. To qualify, the available uChoose Reward points balance must be equal to or greater than half (1/2) of the eligible loan balance. For example, an eligible loan with a rate of 5.99% and a balance of $30,000.00 would require 15,000 available uChoose Reward points to buy down the existing rate by 0.25%, making the new rate 5.74% for the remaining term of the loan. The uChoose Rewards Rate Buy Down program is not available on promotional loan rates. HRCU reserves the right to adjust or end this program at any time. Example: $30,000 loan will cost 15,000 points to buy down the rate by .25%.
