Samsung Pay
Samsung Pay is a fast and convenient way to make purchases with your mobile device. Samsung Pay is unique because it is one of the few mobile payments services that is compatible with traditional magnetic stripe card readers and NFC terminals, making it usable at almost any card reader terminal.
Samsung Pay allows you to use the Galaxy S6, S6 active, S6 edge+ and Note 5 to make in-store mobile payments through the use of proprietary built-in technology. It spans locations where merchant accept tap and pay because the technology works on new card readers as well as most of those that have been in place for years.
Samsung Pay uses proprietary technology that works with both Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST) and Near Field Communication (NFC) to make contactless mobile payments. MST and NFC enable the Galaxy S6, S6 active, S6 edge+ and Note 5 to make transactions at most card readers where you can swipe or tap your card, excluding gas station pumps.
Samsung Pay works almost anywhere you can swipe or tap your card.* Note that Samsung Pay does not currently work at gas station pumps where you have to insert your card, but it will work at most gas station cashier card readers.
Samsung Pay allows you to use compatible Samsung phones and Gear smartwatches** to make in-store mobile payments through the use of proprietary built-in technology. It spans locations where merchants accept tap and pay because the technology works on new card readers as well as most of those that have been in place for years.
